This hymn was inscribed in hieroglyphs on the rear wall of the temple of Aset at Philae, during the reign of Ptolemy Philadelphus, the son of Mark Antony and the Greek Ptolemaic Queen Cleopatra VII. 

The hymn was translated by the American Egyptologist Louis Vico Žabkar
